This true story is an intriguing but heart wrenching film documentary about an amazing high school basketball coach in the early 70s.  While elevating his teams to the highest level, he also battled for racial equality. Secretly he fought a lifelong struggle with mental illness. He committed suicide at the young age of 36. His family is now sharing for the first time, the effects that Ken’s mental illness had on them, in hopes to spread awareness and help others who are dealing with this today.  

Activities start at 6:00pm.  Red-carpet arrival of casts and crew starts at 6:30pm. Film from 7-9pm with a Q&A & meet and greet to follow.

The Bartlesville Community Center features CONTINENTAL SEATING with no center aisle and enough room between rows to allow easy passage. Seats 1 & 2 are in the middle of each row. Even numbered seats (2, 4, 6, etc.) are on the north side of the auditorium while odd seats (1, 3, 5, etc.) are on the south side. The lower the number, the closer the seat is to the center. Rows are labeled A through Z plus ZZ with A closest to the stage and Z/ZZ in the back.

Limited ADA accessible seating is available on Row ZZ and in Row D on the right (south) side of the auditorium; additional seating in rows E, F & L is also available for those with mobility concerns and who can navigate a couple of stairs.
