Each year, audiences look forward to seeing which Broadway shows will make their way to Bartlesville—and the announcement of a new season is always an exciting day for ticket buyers eager to see what’s next.  With “something for everyone” as the goal behind each season’s selections, this year is no exception. From beloved stories to big laughs and unforgettable performances, the Broadway in Bartlesville! lineup continues to bring the best of national touring theater to our region.

MRS. DOUBTFIRE -- NOVEMBER 14th

Daniel Hillard, a struggling, out-of-work actor, will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the kindly alter ego of a Scottish nanny in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. A hysterical and heartfelt story about holding onto your loved ones against all odds, Mrs. Doubtfire is the musical comedy we need right now - one that proves we're better together.

THE CAT IN THE HAT -- FEBRUARY 13th

Two bored kids (This was way before iPads). One rainy day (We’ve all had a few of those.) And one crazy cat wearing a red-striped hat (Where was the background check for that babysitter?!)

The Cat in The Hat interrupts this rainy afternoon with his unexpected visit to Sally and her brother’s cozy home. Their outspoken and outraged pet Fish is astounded and concerned, but this cat will not be deterred. He will teach us all to make our own fun with nothing but a little imagination. “It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how.” Along with Thing One and Thing Two, the cat will fill the theatre with mischievous humor and madcap style. Young and old alike will delight in this lively adaptation of a classic book coming to life before your very eyes. Spoiler alert: Things run amuck, and quickly!  

MARK TWAIN TONIGHT! -- MAY 4th

Emmy-Award® winning Actor and 2025 Theater Hall of Fame Inductee Richard Thomas brings to life “the nation’s one true comic genius” (The New York Times) in Mark Twain Tonight!, written and originally performed by Hal Holbrook. Join the millions who have cheered for the legendary one-man show, bursting with Twain’s “uproariously funny” and “pungently wise” (Time Magazine) humor. Most recently seen on Broadway in Our Town, on tour as Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, on Netflix’s Ozark, Richard Thomas returned to Broadway in Spring 2026 in David Lindsay-Abaire’s The Balusters, directed by Kenny Leon. Beloved to generations as John-Boy Walton, Richard Thomas is the first and only actor authorized to perform the play since the original.          

The Center is the regional performing arts hub for Northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas. Since 2002, Trust Authority has presented the Broadway in Bartlesville! series, bringing national touring productions to The Center’s stage for audiences of all ages.

Previous Broadway productions have included such outstanding musicals as South Pacific, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, 42nd Street, Cinderella, Jesus Christ Superstar, Nunsense and Joseph and the Amazing Colored Dreamcoat. Also presented were fabulous shows by The Ten Tenors, Straight No Chaser, The Diary of Ann Frank, Monty Python’s Spamalot and Cirque Dreams.
