The Lyon Gallery is thrilled to host "Rise of the Robots," a milestone first solo exhibition by assemblage artist Josh Waddell, kicking off on July 1 with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring catering by The Eatery, a cash bar, and live music. The exhibition showcases over 20 unique, physical, and nostalgic robotic sculptures ranging from a few inches to six feet tall, all masterfully crafted from discarded, vintage technology. These quirky, cyberpunk, yet deeply tender "time capsules" launch The Center's new First Impressions gallery series—a grant-funded initiative with support from:
